TiltSoft™??? What does this mean? Why this name?

It's quite simple. The original software was designed to measure volcano deformation data.
Deformation is measured using tiltmeters, which can quantify the slope variations of the volcano's flancs, and return data.

So, the following formula explains the root of the name:
Tilt + Software = TiltSoft
